Diesel infrared heaters — fuel-fired infrared heat for marquees, halls, workshops and large spaces

Heating.

Fuel-fired infrared heaters warm people and surfaces directly, so a cold marquee, hall or workshop feels warm within minutes rather than after the air has been heated. Airrex diesel infrared units burn bio-diesel and conventional diesel, run without a flue in a well-ventilated space, and are sized to the room from a heating calculator, not guessed.

CE declarations — certification evidence on request

Heat, sized to the space

Sized to the space.

Diesel infrared for large covered areas, electric where power and proximity suit — matched to occupancy and exposure rather than guessed.

Commercial-grade units, CE-documented; emissions measured at KYAMK (Finland), reports on request.

The Airrex declarations of conformity and emission reports are available on request.

Confirmed before it ships.

The quote sets out fuel handling, clearances and cable runs for your exact site, so the day holds no surprises.

Choose by use

Match the heat source to the site

Heating should be scoped around space, exposure, power or fuel access, and the way people will use the area. The same unit works as a marquee heater, a workshop heater or a warehouse heater; what changes is the ventilation, the clearances and the output the space needs.

Fuel and ventilation

A portable diesel heater suits larger professional spaces where ventilation, refuelling, and placement can be managed. Airrex specify well-ventilated spaces where the air is replaced 1–2 times an hour: not sealed rooms, and not rooms where people sleep.

Electric local heat

Electric infrared and fan heaters work best for smaller zones, covered hospitality points, counters, patio and terrace areas at venues, and support spaces with suitable power.

Output band

Start with tent size, target temperature, occupancy, and exposure before choosing the heater model. A hall heater and an industrial heater for large spaces are the same calculation with different numbers.

Common questions

FAQ

How do I size heating for a tent or marquee?

By the enclosed volume, the target temperature, the insulation and walls, and the outside conditions — we scope the heater to the space rather than guess from floor area.

What types of event heating are available?

Diesel and electric infrared, and fan heaters. A diesel infrared unit is a radiant heater: it warms people and surfaces rather than the air. The right one depends on the space, ventilation, available power, and whether you are heating the air or the people.

Are the heaters safe inside a tent?

Yes, when correctly specified and ventilated. We advise on heater type, placement, clearances and ventilation for the structure.

Can heating run without mains power?

Diesel infrared runs independently of mains; electric units can run off Instagrid battery power where mains is awkward.

Diesel or electric heating?

Diesel for high output and off-grid sites; electric or infrared for clean, quiet, controllable heat where power allows. We match it to the deployment.
