EN 13501-1 is the European standard classifying how construction products, including tent canopy materials, react to fire. The two LP Tent canopy fabrics on file both hold the French M2 classification from Efectis France, and ARCADE FR holds Class B-s2,d0 alongside it. We match the certificate scope, date, issuing body, product model and fabric reference to the structure quoted, so it stands up in an event licence or procurement file.
Wind and structural verification, CTS 7 (above EN 13782)

LP Tent frames are designed and verified to French CTS article 7 at 0.47 kN/m² (100 km/h). EN 13782:2015 asks for 0.30 kN/m² on tents under 10 m wide and 5 m high, so the frames sit above the standard, and the French verification bureau (BVCTS) has confirmed this in writing. France does not apply EN 13782 to tents, so there is no EN 13782 certificate as such; the CTS 7 verification is the stronger document. We supply it with the manufacturer's anchoring guidance and read it against your anchoring method and site.

CO, XP, ZP, Pagode and GP are rated to 60mph (100 km/h, 0.47 kN/m²) with the manufacturer's anchoring and ballast; Alu45 to 40mph. Wind documentation must be read with the anchoring method, ground condition, exposure, model, and site management assumptions. Ask for the current report before specifying any structure for exposed conditions.

BS 7837 is a British Standard for fire retardancy of tent and marquee fabrics. Ask for the current document and check whether it applies to the exact fabric and product being quoted.
CTS inspection (French temporary-structure regulation)

CTS is the French regulation for temporary structures open to the public. It sets the wind load (CTS 7) the frames are verified to and the fire classification and marking (CTS 8) the canopies carry; an inspection opinion for the XP range was issued in September 2026. Where relevant, the document is read alongside UK and European procurement requirements.

What is BS EN 13782?
The European standard for the structural and wind design of temporary tents and structures. It asks for 0.30 kN/m² of wind loading on tents under 10 m wide and 5 m high. LP Tent frames are verified to French CTS 7 at 0.47 kN/m² (100 km/h), above that figure, and the French verification bureau has confirmed it in writing. The confirmation is in the procurement pack, with the anchoring it assumes.
Are the structures fire-rated?
The canopy fabrics carry a reaction-to-fire classification to EN 13501-1 (and BS 7837 where it applies). The certificate is supplied for the exact model and fabric quoted, not a generic statement.
What certification do I need for a public event?
For any structure the public stands under, wind and structural verification (CTS 7, above EN 13782) and fire classification (EN 13501-1) are a licensing matter. We supply the evidence so you do not have to chase it.
What documentation do you provide for procurement?
Fire classification, structural and wind verification, technical sheets, care guidance, CE declarations where applicable, plus our insurance, Companies House and VAT details — the full pack, matched to the specification quoted.
Do you supply certification for the exact model?
Yes. Your specialist checks every certificate against the exact product model, fabric and anchoring quoted, and includes it in the quote pack.
Do the tents carry CE or UKCA marking?
No, and they are not meant to. CE and UKCA marking apply only to products covered by a regulation that requires it, and soft-cover pop-up tents are not; the French tent operators' association confirmed this in writing in March 2026. The frames are verified under CTS 7 and the fabrics carry their fire classifications instead. Rex Nordic heaters and coolers carry CE declarations.
