Common questions

FAQ

What is the difference between a jump starter and a battery booster?

They are the same tool: a portable battery pack that delivers a high-current burst to start a vehicle with a flat or weak battery, without needing a second vehicle or mains power.

Do I need a 12V or 24V jump starter?

Cars and most vans are 12V. Trucks, buses, and a lot of construction plant are 24V. The BOOSTER 2000 and 7000 support both, so one unit covers a mixed fleet.

Will they work in the cold?

Yes — the BOOSTER 1300 is rated to −20°C and the 2000 to −40°C, which matters for winter sites and cold storage where batteries fail most.

Can I add a jump starter to an equipment order?

Yes. They are quoted alongside heating, power, and structures so it arrives as one specified delivery rather than a separate purchase.
