How the sliding-wall and tension-bar system keeps branding taut

On a branded structure, a ripple is the difference between a logo that reads and one that does not. The XP, ZP, Pagode and GP ranges hold print drum-tight with a sliding wall and a bottom tension bar — the one detail that makes a temporary structure look like a permanent one.

The sliding wall

Instead of straps and velcro tabs, the wall edge carries a reinforced bead that slides into a groove machined into the leg profile. The fabric is held along its whole vertical edge, so it cannot flap or sag, and the gaps you normally get at the corners close up — keeping wind and rain out and the line of the structure clean over a multi-day event.

The bottom tension bar

For branding, the bar is what does the work. It slides into a sleeve at the base of the wall and locks to the legs with adjustable collars; tighten it and the fabric pulls flat, horizontally and vertically. The result is a crisp, drum-tight printed surface that stays readable in a breeze, without anyone walking round re-tensioning straps all day.

Why it holds

Locked into the leg profiles, the walls stop being loose fabric and start bracing the frame. Correctly anchored, the XP, ZP, Pagode and GP ranges are rated to 60mph — against 40mph for the strap-walled Alu45. The hard-anodised, EN573 6060 tempered frame carries the tension that large-format branding needs. Temporary structure, permanent standards.

Common questions

FAQ

Which ranges have the sliding-wall system?

The XP, ZP, Pagode and GP — they carry the grooved leg profile the bead and tension collars need. The Alu45 and CO use velcro-attached walls.

Does it improve wind resistance?

Yes — locking the walls into the legs makes the fabric part of the structure, which is part of how these ranges reach 60mph when anchored.

Does it slow the setup down?

Barely — the walls slide into the track in seconds and the bar clips to the leg collars; you get a tension straps cannot match for a step more.
